Feeding the Birds

As part of your admission price we give you a small plate of apple and a small tub of mealworms to feed the birds.

You can also purchase extra tubs of Mealworms (Yes they are alive).

A common question is what is the best time to feed the birds.

The short answer is no one particular time of the day is any better than another.

That said early in the morning or late in the afternoon is probably the best.

In extremely hot weather the birds are less inclined to be interactive, especially in the middle of the day.
